Dr. Culotta earned his undergraduate degree from LSU in Baton Rouge, LA, and earned his medical degree in 1974 from LSU. In addition, Dr. Culotta earned his masters degree in Health Services Administration. In 1977 he completed his residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Tulane Division. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Culotta is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and serves on the Board of Governors and as the Chairman of the Council on Legislation. He is a member of the Louisiana Patients Compensation Board and serves as an alternate to the AMA House of delegates. He is active in mission work in Nicaragua and serves on the advisory Board of the archdiocesan Cristo Sana Board.
