Dr. Sanner received his undergraduate degree from the University of California in Riverside. He earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at California College of Podiatric Medicine, where he was class vice president, a member of the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honor Society, and named Outstanding Student in Podiatric Orthopedics. He completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at California Podiatry Hospital in San Francisco, and a two-year fellowship in podiatric biomechanics at California College of Podiatric Medicine, also in San Francisco. Dr. Sanner is board certified in podiatric orthopedics and primary pediatric medicine. He came to Ochsner in 1991 after a career in academia. Dr. Sanner's expertise is in the area of biomechanics. He has special medical interests in diabetics and neuropathic related foot problems.
