Dr. Waters earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his internship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio. He has worked in several areas of neuroscience research at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, LSU and the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Dr. Waters holds fellowship positions in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Psychological Society, and the American Psychological Association, and he sits on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr Waters is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Professional Psychology.
