Ochsner Health Center For Children - New Orleans offers a full range of pediatric services. From immunizations to life-saving efforts such as heart and lung transplants, we specialize in comprehensive care for children. Our pediatric specialists have access to the same resources and and research as their adult counterparts. This allows us to give the most up-to-date care to pediatric patients.

- More than 25 general pediatricians and 40 pediatric subspecialists, all of whom are trained and experienced in health problems specific to children, from birth through adolescences
- A full range of pediatric services

We understand that there are times when your child needs immediate attention. That's why we offer same-day appointments, extended hours, lunchtime and Saturday appointments at many of our clinics.
Ochsner On Call for After Hours Assistance
Specially trained registered nurses are available to discuss your concerns and help you decide if your child's symptoms require a trip to the emergency room or a visit with a physician. Call 504-842-3155 or toll free 800-213-5257. Ochsner pediatricians are able to closely manage the care of your child should he or she require hospitalization or home healthcare. Ochsner also provides:
- Over-the-phone registration
- Prescription refills
- Well-baby visits
- Completion of shot records
- School and camp forms

Absolutely loved the experience. The receptionist, the nurse and the doctor were all amazing and very welcoming! The lobby had great space for my children to pace, run, be themselves and interesting places for them to sit. This was very necessary as we drove over an hour to be seen here. I highly recommend Brittani Wild for pediatric neurology.

Dr. Brown and her nurse are the best around. Not only can you tell they really care about their patients but they also care about their families. Since my son has been going there he’s received the best care. He was asking if he could still see her as a patient when he’s in college and beyond. We absolutely love her.

Originally I was 100% set on ginive a 1 star because I had about the worst patient experience today trying to get my 2 kids seen. Rude staff checking in offering little to no help while they prioritized their personal conversations. To staff at the window tell me how packed they are and how I might want to go "get seen somewhere else". Then witnessing the same staff member fitting in a mother with a child with no problem for her, but no room for my kid. BUT I only say all of that to truly highlight and give deserved credit to Dr. JACKSON. as soon as we saw her, I communicated my problems and with out hesitation she took care of everything. Fit both my kids in (one had an appointment, one got sick this morning) and took great care of them. I am truly happy to see there are still really good people still working in this field who still care about their patients. She totally improved the outlook for the rest of our day with her generous and kind attitude. Thank you Dr Jackson

My daughter saw Jillian Pringle for the first time and there aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful she was. There are some people who are just made to help others and that perfectly describes her. She was patient, thorough, informative and so incredibly kind. Can’t recommend her enough.
