Marlys Cocozzoli was an avid sewer who had a deep love for her craft. One day, she noticed that she lost muscle control on her right side, making it very difficult to finish projects. Within five minutes of talking with her doctor, they determined that she had Parkinson’s disease and determined that a treatment called deep brain stimulation was right for Marlys. This is the story of how Marlys is now back on her feet, enjoying life and getting back to what she loves best.
