NEW ORLEANS – Ochsner Health System reached a milestone this week as the 5,000th patient this year was transferred to physicians within Ochsner Health System via Ochsner’s Regional Referral Center. Critically ill patients around the region are benefiting from the Regional Referral Center’s quick and seamless process which allows patients faster access to nationally acclaimed specialty care. BATON ROUGE, LA – Ochsner Health System has named Eric McMillen Chief Executive Officer of the system’s Greater Baton Rouge locations. McMillen had been serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer since former CEO Mitch Wasden resigned for another position this summer.
