NEW ORLEANS - Students from Bonnabel High School are keeping Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner creative. Thirteen students from Bonnabel's Art I & II classes are represented in a mini- art exhibition along the walls of the hospital's hallways.
"We have many ‘needy' walls and this is a great way for our employees, visitors and patients to enjoy the creativity of our teenagers in Kenner," said Nancy St. Germain, Senior Physician Liaison at Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner.
The students' artwork represents some of the themes and styles they have studied over the past year, including figurative art painted in watercolors, masks colored using oil pastels and architectural perspective drawings using colored pencils and watercolors.
St. Germain hopes to continue the art displays throughout the year. "I hope our art walk grows and engages future students to be encouraged to use their creativity."
