Hello Health for Parents Seminars
NEW ORLEANS - The Ochsner Hello Health series is now introducing parenting seminars at Elmwood Fitness Center in Harahan. This summer, starting June 10th and ending July 31st, Ochsner will host six Hello Health for Parents seminars, each with a different focus on children's health. Seminars begin at 6:00 p.m. at Elmwood Fitness Center Harahan, 1200 S. Clearview Parkway (in Elmwood Plaza Shopping Center).
- Thursday, July 10: What's New in Childhood Diabetes Robert Gensure, M.D., Ochsner Pediatric Endocrinologist
- Thursday, July 24: Is My Child Overweight? Michael Heim, Elmwood Fitness Center Youth Fitness Manager
- Thursday, July 31: Is Your Child a Picky Eater? Molly Kimball, RD, CSSD & Elesha Kelleher, MPH, RD, both Elmwood Fitness Center Sports and Lifestyle Nutritionists
Space is limited; to make a reservation, call 1-866-OCHSNER (1-866-624-7637) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., before each seminar. There is a $10 registration fee for each seminar and dinner is provided by Ochsner Chef Marc Gilberti is included for PARENTS. Free childcare will be available for children ages 4 and older.
