Ochsner to Offer "Hello Health" Seminar for Parents-to-Be
Ochsner Health System will offer an educational seminar on available birthing options on Thursday, February 18, 2010, beginning at 12pm at Mansur's (5720 Corporate Blvd). Ochsner OB/GYN Ralph Dauterive, MD, and Certified Nurse Midwife Bethanie Genre will present information on birthing options including a more natural approach. Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge will celebrate the opening of its new labor and delivery unit this spring. The hospital's fourth floor will be entirely dedicated to mothers and babies with 6 labor and delivery rooms, 2 caesarean rooms, 9 NICU beds, 14 patient rooms, a holding nursery and recovery and assessment beds.
