FREE Weekend Health Screenings at Ochsner Health Center Grand Opening

BATON ROUGE, LA - On Saturday, June 5, from 9am - 11am, at 8150 Jefferson Highway, Ochsner Health Center - Jefferson Highway will offer free, preventive health screenings to the public in celebration of the clinic's grand opening. Ochsner encourages the public to take advantage of these screenings to help maintain an healthy body and prevent more serious health problems. Free screenings include:
• BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood pressure
• Total cholesterol
• Glucose
• Vision screenings
• Bone density or DEXA (indicator of osteoporosis)
• Additionally, visitors can tour the new 13,000 square foot facility which includes 21 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, laboratory and imaging services.
In the coming months, medical specialists will begin rotating through the site, which currently offers primary care services staffed by the following:
