Ochsner Offers Community Seminar on Interstitial Cystitis
NEW ORLEANS - If the first thing you do when arriving in a new place is search for the nearest bathroom, or maybe you can't rest at night because the pressure or pain in your bladder keeps you awake- you're not alone. More than 700,000 Americans suffer from what's known as Interstitial Cystitis (IC), a condition that results in chronic discomfort or pain in the bladder and the surrounding pelvic area.
Ochsner Medical Center- Baptist Urologist Dr. Susan McSherry will discuss symptoms and treatments of Interstitial Cystitis at an Ochsner Hello Health Seminar on Wednesday, May 7, at 12:00 p.m. noon at Commander's Palace, 1403 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA.
