Ladies Basketball and Tiger Football Teams Pass Winning Spirit to Hospital Patients
NEW ORLEANS, LA The NCAA Number 6 ranked LSU Lady Tigers will pay a visit to Ochsner Hospital, 1514 Jefferson Highway, today, Thursday, December 28, 2006, from 4pm-5:30pm. The entire team, including head coach Pokey Chatman, will visit with pediatric and adult patients. The Lady Tigers will tour the Ochsner Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and in-patient hospital wing (4th floor hospital), and the Skilled Nursing Unit (6th floor hospital).
Also, on Sunday, December 31, another LSU winning team will visit Ochsner. The 4th ranked (AP & USA Today Poll), Sugar Bowl bound LSU Tigers Football Team will visit 1514 Jefferson Highway from 2pm-4pm tackling some of the hospitals biggest pediatric and adult LSU fans.
Being confined to the hospital during the holidays can be hard on patients and families, especially children. Hopefully, a visit from the LSU winning teams will lift their spirits.
