Ochsner Fans, Hugo the Hornet and the Honeybees Celebrate the NBA Teams first home game
NEW ORLEANS - On Tuesday, October 30 at 11:00 am, Ochsner Medical Center will host an interactive, pre-game celebration for the New Orleans Hornets as they get ready for their first home game of the NBA Season. As the Official and Exclusive Healthcare Provider of the New Orleans Hornets, Ochsner will cheer the team on for their Wednesday, October 31st game against the Sacramento Kings in the New Orleans Arena.
Ochsner Medical Center at 1514 Jefferson Highway will host a "Hoops Celebration" with an 18-foot inflatable basketball hoop, Mascot Hugo the Hornet, and the Honeybees cheerleaders. Employees and visitors will be asked to shoot "nothing but net" to win a Hornet's shaker or pennant, they'll then enjoy arena hotdogs and chips.
