NEW ORLEANS, LA Ochsner Health System announced today the hiring of three new management executives:
Mitch Wasden Vice President of Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge. Mitch graduated from University of Michigan with a Masters Degree in Health Administration and is currently completing doctoral studies in executive leadership and organizational theory at George Washington University. Wasden joined Ochsner from the Lovelace Clinic where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Lovelace, he served as COO for a medical device company.
TJ Stranova Director of Cardiology TJ received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tufts University in Boston, his Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Tulane University and is currently about to complete his Doctor of Science (ScD) degree from Tulane by end of this year. Previously, Stranova served as Operations Manager for Med/Surg, Pulmonary, and Sleep Lab at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic where he also completed and Administrative Fellowship. Before re-locating to New Orleans, Stranova spent four years as a Health Policy Analyst for a non-profit disability advocacy group, Paralyzed Veterans of America, in Washington D.C.
Shelley M. Sullivan, Attorney - Shelley Sullivan is a New Orleans native and has been practicing law in New Orleans for five years. She began as a law clerk to the Honorable Edith Brown Clement, Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. After finishing her clerkship, she practiced at Jones Walker in the Labor and Employment Section. She joined Ochsner's Office of Legal Affairs in September 2006. Shelley graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 and Order of the Coif from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert School of Law in 2001.
