NEW ORLEANS – In preparation of an approaching storm, Ochsner Blood Bank will need extra blood donations to help bridge the gap caused by fewer collections just before, during and immediately after a storm event. Please consider donating blood or platelets today or Friday to help insure an adequate blood inventory for our patients here and at all Ochsner facilities that our Blood Bank supplies. All sites will be stocking their blood inventories to insure we can care for our patients requiring blood transfusions throughout the storm event.
