NEW ORLEANS – Ochsner Health System today announced that Dawn Anuszkiewicz has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer of Ochsner Baptist Medical Center effective March 4, 2013.
Anuszkiewicz joins Ochsner from St. Louis University Hospital, a 356-bed academic medical center, where she served as Chief Operating Officer for the past two years. She also held the positions of Senior Administrator, Administrator of Academic Services and Director of Graduate Medical Education at the hospital. Prior to that, she was the Director of Medical Education at the Baltimore location of MedStar Health, Inc., a not-for-profit integrated healthcare delivery system with six hospitals in the DC/Baltimore area.
Anuszkiewicz received her Masters of Health Service Administration at the George Washington University School of Business Management and her Bachelor of Arts – Psychology at Rutgers University. In 2008, she was a recipient of the Modern Healthcare Up and Comer award.
