According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention diabetes impacts millions of Americans, with some not even aware that they are diabetic. Ochsner Internal Medicine physician David Sledge, MD, will provide an overview of diabetes, including the facts, causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and complications of the disease. Participants will also receive a free glucose screening and Ochsner dieticians will be on hand to discuss diets for the diabetic.

GO Road Trip: A Day at the Races

Depart Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge at 9:30 am and return at 5:00 pm.
It’s off to the races at the New Orleans Fairgrounds!
