The event will feature the following:
• FREE health screenings - cholesterol screenings, HDL screenings, glucose screenings and nurse consultations.
• Flu shots provided by Walgreen’s (bring your insurance card)
• Ochsner Family Medicine physician Chad Braden, MD will discuss shingles and the shingles vaccine.

GO Road Trip: National Weather Service Tour and Palmetto’s on the Bayou Restaurant

Depart Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge at 8:00 am and return at 5:00 pm.
During the tour of the National Weather Service Center, members will learn the history and get a comprehensive overview of the center’s operations. Afterwards, members will have lunch at Palmetto’s on the Bayou Restaurant. Cost is $55 per person which includes transportation, tour fees and lunch. Call 755-4984 to RSVP.
