Modern Physician Magazine Lists Dr. Patrick Quinlan for 4th Time
Ochsner has announced that Dr. Patrick Quinlan, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Ochsner Health System, has been named to the list of the most powerful physician executive in the nation by Modern Physician magazine for the fourth time. This honor is part of the magazine’s fifth annual ranking of the “50 Most Powerful Physician Executives in Healthcare.” In previous years, Quinlan has ranked No. 1 in 2007, No. 10 in 2006 and No. 43 in 2005 by readers of Modern Physician and Modern Healthcare.
“We’re very proud that Dr. Quinlan has been recognized again for his leadership and the strategic perspective he’s provided in the national conversation about health care reform,” said Mr. Warner Thomas, President and COO of Ochsner Health System.
Other honorees include executives from the healthcare industry: hospital systems, the U.S. Senate, federal health agencies, patient advocacy groups, health insurance companies, unions, prestigious journals and academic programs.
