Community Seminars Now Available with Live Q&A; on Several Local TV Channels
NEW ORLEANS - Each month, Ochsner hosts multiple community Hello Health seminars to provide physicians and other experts with a way to educate local residents on various health topics. And now you can find Hello Health for TV by tuning into WLAE-TV Cox Channel 14, Direct TV Channel 32, Charter Channel 11, or Digital Channel 32.1 every 4th Monday of the month from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm CST.
Hello Health for TV will be 1 hour long and will feature a presentation by an Ochsner physician for the first 30 minutes, with the opportunity for the audience at home to e-mail or call in with questions during the last 30 minutes. Additionally, the first half of the show will replay the following Sunday from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and will also be posted on http://www.ochsner.org as well as on WLAE's website.
The series will run as follows:
- Monday, July 28: Dr. Yung-Wei Chi, Vascular Medicine Specialist, Varicose Veins
- Monday, August 25: Dr. George Chimento, Orthopedic Surgeon, Total Joint Replacement
