NEW ORLEANS – All Ochsner hospitals, emergency rooms and health centers are open and keeping regular hours today, Monday, August 27. Patients who have appointments scheduled for today should plan to keep those appointments. Additional appointments are available today and can be made by calling 1-866-OCHSNER.
Ochsner advises all patients who need prescriptions refilled to please do so today. Once the emergency plan is activated by the City, our emergency departments will only accept patients requiring critical services.
Like all local hospitals, Ochsner facilities will not be available for use as emergency shelters at any time.
Details regarding hospital and clinic closures will be announced later this afternoon.
