Celebrates Second Home Game - September 28 Against 49ers

NEW ORLEANS - On Friday, September 26, from 1pm - 2pm, Ochsner will feature the Saintsations, a 2nd Line, and some very proud fans as the hospital hosts an indoor Saints Parade and Pep Rally for employees. Ochsner, the official healthcare provider of the New Orleans Saints, is welcoming the team back to the Superdome for their second home game against the San Francisco 49rs.  The event will be in the 1514 Jefferson Highway Main Atrium and will include pediatric patients tossing Ochsner black and gold, rubber wrist bands and pom-poms.  Today's parade was originally scheduled to welcome the Saints to their first home game, but was delayed due to Hurricane Gustav's arrival.

"Supporting the New Orleans Saints is another way for us to further our commitment to revitalizing and growing the Gulf Coast community; we are very proud to be their healthcare provider," says Dr. Patrick Quinlan, Chief Executive Officer at Ochsner Health System.

Earlier this month, Ochsner and the New Orleans Saints announced the new Ochsner Eat Fit menu items at the Louisiana Superdome to give fans healthier selections while catching the action this season.  Turkey dogs on whole wheat buns, grilled portobello mushrooms, chicken kebobs, and pan-seared tuna, are all part of the new Ochsner Eat Fit available in all suites, club levels and general concession stands.
