Ochsner Medical Center-West Bank Campus Hosts Special Event for Expectant Mothers
WHAT: Ochsner Medical Center-West Bank Campus is giving area mommies-to-be and their families the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about prenatal and Lamaze classes and take a tour of the Mother/Baby Unit and Labor and Delivery suites as the hospital hosts its Third Annual Mommy-To-Be Expo.
In addition to the informational aspect of the Expo, more than 20 local businesses that cater to moms and children will be on hand with products and great door prizes that will be drawn every hour.
As part of its continuing education for expectant families, Ochsner will offer several health and wellness seminars such as:
• Car Seat Safety
• Infant and Pregnancy Massage
• Healthy Cooking Demo
• Pets with Newborns
• Breast Feeding – What You Need to Know
• Safe Sitter
• Lamaze Overview and Demo
