NEW ORLEANS - Does your child have asthma? Are allergies keeping your child indoors this spring? Ochsner will answer these questions and more as it partners with the Junior League of New Orleans for Asthma & Allergy Night at Samuel J. Green Charter Elementary, 2319 Valence St. in New Orleans on Tuesday, May 6. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, Dr. Jennifer Parkerson, Ochsner Pediatrician, will explain what parents need to know about keeping their children's asthma and allergy problems under control. Attendees can take part in a "Q&A" session with Dr. Parkerson as well as enjoy dinner provided by the Junior League.
Both Ochsner and the Junior League of New Orleans have partnered with Samuel J. Green Charter Elementary to encourage reading and healthy nutrition and fitness for students, teachers and parents.
