Surgeons at the hospital performed more than 2,980 orthopedic surgeries in 2010 alone. Fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians perform arthroscopic surgery and provide coverage for the New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Hornets and New Orleans Voodoo arena football team.
