Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore Auxiliary Awards Scholarships to Two Northshore High Students

Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore’s Auxiliary has announced the winners of this year’s Analea Miller and Lillian Lambour Auxiliary Scholarships, each worth $1,000.   Jillian Michel, a graduate of Northshore High School plans to study nursing.  Jonathan Richardson, also a graduate of Northshore High will pursue a degree in pharmacy. 

2012 Scholarship  Recipients 2:  Northshore High graduates Jillian Michel and Jonathan Richardson  each received a $1,000 scholarship from the Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore Auxiliary.  Pictured with the future healthcare professionals is Ochsner North Shore Chief Executive Officer Polly Davenport.

The annual scholarship program is a long-time project of Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore’s Auxiliary and is funded by the Sunshine Gift Shop as well as other Auxiliary projects throughout the year.  Established in 1985, the Auxiliary is comprised of volunteers who work throughout the year to raise funds for local charities including Children’s Wish Endowment, Hope House, Sunshine Village and many others.  For more information on the Volunteer Program at OMC-NS, please contact Kimberly Holmes, Volunteer Coordinator at 985-646-5021.
