Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore Auxiliary Contributes $1,000 to Local Community Organizations

SLIDELL, LA -  Members of the Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore Auxiliary continue to support the Slidell community through financial donations.   In October, the group presented a $500 donation to both the Hospice Foundation of the South and Rainbow Childcare.

The mission of the Hospice Foundation of the South is to provide resources for medical and emotional care for terminally ill patients and their families.  Rainbow Childcare is an early child development program for children ages 1 to 5 years.

All donations are generated through hospital gift shop sales, which benefit a range of organizations throughout the year.  Ochsner Medical Center  - North Shore has many volunteer opportunities available.
