Facility to Provide Primary Care Services
BATON ROUGE, LA – Ochsner Health System will celebrate the opening of its newest Baton Rouge area location, Ochsner Health Center – Harding Boulevard, on Wednesday, December 12th at 10 am with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The 2,000 square foot clinic is conveniently located near the interstate at 7855 Howell Place Boulevard.
Members of the media are invited to attend.
Ribbon cutting ceremony speakers will include:
• Eric McMillen, CEO Ochsner Baton Rouge Region
• Dr. Robert Hart, Medical Director Ochsner Baton Rouge Region
• Dr. Andriette Martin Fitch, Internist/Pediatrician, Ochsner Health Center – Harding Boulevard Lead Physician
“I am happy to be a part of Ochsner’s expansion into this area. It truly is a great location and I look forward to serving area residents here for some time,” said Dr. Fitch. Dr. Fitch most recently practiced internal medicine and pediatrics at Westside Family Healthcare in Plaquemine. She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville and completed her residency at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
With the opening of Ochsner Health Center – Harding Boulevard, Ochsner now has seven local health centers and a full service acute care medical center off of O’Neal Lane. The organization also plans to open a freestanding ER in Iberville Parish in 2014.
