Louisiana Society for Hospital Public Relations & Marketing Presents Prestigious Awards
NEW ORLEANS - Ochsner Health System's Marketing Department received outstanding accolades for four creative pieces from its 2007 campaign. Chosen for Pelican Awards by the Louisiana Society for Hospital Public Relations and Marketing were the following collaterals:
- Physician Notes
- Pregnancy Handbook
- St. Charles Avenue Direct Mail
- "Ochsner in 2007" video
All submissions were critiqued by healthcare marketing executives in the Gulf South region, including Alabama and Mississippi. The Pelican Awards were presented on Friday, April 25 at the LSHPRM Spring Conference in Baton Rouge. Pelican Awards recognize distinguished medical institutions who've demonstrated measurable results and unique creativity with limited resources and budget.
"This year's awards are particularly significant for Ochsner as they highlight our re-branding of the System and stand out among fierce state-wide competition," says Juliette Thompson, Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Ochsner Health System.
Ochsner was recognized with a Certificate of Merit for unsurpassed national media relations in April 2003.
