Ochsner St. Anne Welcomes Dr. Jamie Bourgeois Huddleston to Neurology Team

RACELAND, L.A. - Ochsner St. Anne General Hospital is pleased to welcome home Neurologist Dr. Jamie Bourgeois Huddleston to its Raceland medical team. Dr. Bourgeois Huddleston was born and raised in Raceland and is a graduate of Central Lafourche High School. In her practice, she will focus on basic neurology care treating headaches, neck and back pain, neuropathy, seizures, and patients with Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Stroke care.  Additional care includes neurophysiologic studies (EMG/EEG) as well as Botox for certain neurological conditions. 

"I have worked for the past 12 years with the intention to return and serve the community that I love.  It's certainly a dream come true to be home again with family, friends, and the great Ochsner St. Anne staff," says Dr. Bourgeois Huddleston. While focusing on adult patients, she also accepts pediatric patients ages 12-17 years old on a case-by-case basis. 

Dr. Bourgeois-Huddleston received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Nicholls State University graduating cum laude, earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed a Neurology Residency at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic where she was named 2006-2007 Neurology Chief Resident. She's also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Southern Medical Association.
