Ochsner St. Anne Hosts Spring Health Fair, FREE Health Screenings
Raceland, LA - If you're planning on doing some spring cleaning this year, why not take some time to get your spring medical check-ups? On Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 8am until 12pm, Ochsner St. Anne General Hospital will be hosting a Spring Health Fair at the hospital, 4806 Hwy. 1 in Raceland. The event will feature free health screenings, including Total Cholesterol/HDL (Good Cholesterol) Screening, Glucose, Blood Pressure, Prostate Cancer Screening/PSA (for men 40+), and BMI (Body Mass Index) Screenings.
There will be an "Open House" in the hospital to learn more about the services offered at Ochsner St. Anne such as the new, stroke telemedicine program, birth certificate instructions for new parents, electronic medical records and department tours. To get to know your local physicians, there will be a "Meet & Greet" for all attendees to visit with Ochsner St. Anne physicians from various departments.
