Dr. Ari Cohen discusses Transplant Myths. Common myths include: If a patient is listed as an organ donor then doctors won’t try as hard to care for that person; A person can be too old or too young to donate organs; If you are an organ donor you can’t have a proper funeral; Religious organizations don’t approve of organ donation. All of these statements are myths about organ donation.  You can register to become a donor at or at your local DMV office.  Organ donation is important become so many people waiting for transplants. A single organ donor can save up to 9 lives.
