Working closely with the Ochsner Cancer Institute, we use a multi-disciplinary team approach to detect and treat cancer. This team consists of a surgeon, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, nurse and social worker. Working together, these specialists, in conjunction with the patient, decide on the treatment course that best meets the needs of each patient.
