Introducing the new Cancer Screening Clinic at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Here, we help you know where you stand with cancer by evaluating hereditary factors that can predict your risk and by performing skin cancer screenings, colonoscopies and prostate exams, mammograms, PAP smears and more.
Understanding your risk for certain types of cancer is the first step to preventing cancer. Undergoing a cancer screening allows the Ochsner cancer team to identify your individual cancer risks and provide appropriate preventative care. The Ochsner Cancer Screening Clinic is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of specialty-trained physicians, oncology nurses, clinical researchers and many others who specialize in the comprehensive management of patients with all types of cancer based upon National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines.
