Ochsner has gained both regional and national recognition as a leader in neurosurgical services. Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners and nurse clinicians, offer a comprehensive approach to care for a wide array of neurosurgical conditions. Our four full-time neurosurgeons and affiliated neurosurgeons also perform more than 1,000 surgeries each year. We offer a full range of adult neurosurgical services such as complex spinal surgery (including those requiring instrumentation), peripheral nerve, cranial and cerebrovascular neurosurgery, as well as endovascular techniques for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations.
