
The Vascular Medicine Program is a specialized service within OHVI and is staffed by board-certified vascular medicine specialists. It provides comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis of vascular conditions and disorders by vascular specialists prior to the interventional stage of treatment. This allows for a more complete understanding of the condition. It also provides both the patient and the referring physician with a better understanding of the disease process, treatment options and available management protocols. Since many systems can be affected by vascular disease, diagnosis, treatment and management are essential. The Vascular Medicine program specializes in the diagnosis and management of the following diseases and conditions:
