Colorectal cancer is extremely preventable if polyps that lead to the cancer are detected and removed, and it is very curable if the cancer is detected in its early stages.
Since there are very few symptoms associated with colorectal cancer, regular screening is essential.

- Family history of polyps or colorectal cancer
- History of cancer, polyps, or inflammatory bowel diseases
- Symptoms (bleeding, pain, change in bowels, etc)
- Screening for Colorectal Cancer

- Colonoscopy
If you or your family has not been screened, talk to your healthcare provider, colorectal surgeon, or gastroenterologist about colorectal cancer and screening.
