Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (en-doh-SKAH-pik REH-troh-grayd koh-LAN-jee-oh-PANG-kree-uh-TAH-gruh-fee) (ERCP) is used to diagnose and treat:

  • Conditions of the bile ducts including retained common bile stone and pancreatic duct stones
  • Strictures of the common bile duct due both malignant and non-malignant causes
  • Bile leaks and other trauma to the biliary and ductal system
  • Lesions or tumors affecting the bile ducts

In addition, our therapeutic endoscopists use Spyglass Endoscopic technology to treat bile stone and to other complex diseases of the ductal system.
