The initial free consultation will consist of a screening ocular examination performed by Dr. Shah, to determine if the patient is a candidate for LASER vision correction. During this screening exam, the amount of refractive error, thickness of the cornea, and shape of the cornea are all measured with the latest screening technology. Dr. Shah will review the needs of each patient individually and discuss options to achieve the patient's goals.
If the patient is a candidate and wishes to proceed, they can choose a date for surgery and the required pre-operative visit one week prior to surgery. During this pre-operative visit, exact measurements for LASER programming will be obtained, prescriptions and instructions will be given, and all last minute questions can be answered. Full payment for surgery is due at the one week pre-operative visit, after which only partial refunds may be given on an individual basis for cancellation.
