Symptoms

Symptoms of hemochromatosis include the following: fatigue, exhaustion, abdominal pain, joint pain and possible heart problems. The disease can also be asymptomatic at time of diagnosis. If not treated for a long time, cirrhosis can set in as well, along with other liver diseases, sexual problems, thyroid deficiency and damage to the pancreas or the adrenal glands.
