Under the supervision of Medical Director Dr. Pulin Shah, who is the first and currently the only iLASIK certified surgeon in New Orleans, Ochsner’s LASER Vision Center specializes in the most up-to-date LASER technology for refractive surgery, including blade-free LASIK. Currently, Ochsner is the only LASER Center in the New Orleans metro area to offer this new procedure, a method where doctors have replaced the use of a microkeratome blade with a laser.
