Meet Our Physicians
Pulin Shah, MD
Dr. Shah serves as the Medical Director of the LASER Vision Center. He is the first and currently the only iLASIK certified surgeon in New Orleans. Dr. Shah received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, ophthalmology residency at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. His clinical interests focus on the most advanced techniques related to cataract surgery and intraocular lens technology, corneal transplantation (including DSAEK), and LASER refractive surgery. He is board certified in Ophthalmology, and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Shah is a native of Louisiana, having grown up in Opelousas and Lafayette.
Ginny Kullmanm, MD
Dr. Ginny Kullman was born and raised in New Orleans. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, NC, and she earned her medical degree from Tulane Medical School. She completed her internship at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington, and went on to complete residency in ophthalmology at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute at the University of Colorado in Denver. She then completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the renowned Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary in Boston, MA. Her practice and clinical interests include advanced techniques related to cataract surgery and intraocular lens technology, corneal transplantation (including DSAEK and keratoprosthesis surgery), and LASER refractive surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
