Children's orthopedic problems include congenital and developmental conditions of the spine and extremities such as limb length discrepancies; curvatures of the spine, like scoliosis; and limb problems from shoulder to fingertips and hip to toes. Ochsner can treat all of these problems and evaluate in-toeing, bow-legs, knock-knees, abnormalities of walking and conditions involving the spine and extremities such as cerebral palsy. Ochsner also treats children's fractures and dislocations, as well as infections and tumors of the spine and extremities.
