Ochsner Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Team : About

Cleft Lip/Palate and Craniofacial Program

Caring for patients with craniofacial deformities, such as cleft lip or cleft palate, is a long-term challenge that begins at birth and continues throughout the child's development. The Ochsner Craniofacial Team takes a coordinated, centralized approach to treating the whole child, not merely the anatomical deformity. Every aspect of a child's problem is considered by our team of specialists in recommending a comprehensive program designed to achieve the highest possible degree of functional and aesthetic rehabilitation.
