What is Kids Club?

This Kids Club is a short-term childcare program with an exciting array of activities. It's open Monday thru Friday. Children can stay a maximum time of three (3) hours for the morning session (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) and three (3) in the afternoon session (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.). The area is closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Who Can Use the Kids Club?

Anyone who has an appointment at the Ochsner Medical Center, Jefferson Highway Campus, or anyone who is visiting a patient in the hospital may utilize this service of Kids Club. Children must be in good health and parents must remain on this Ochsner campus. Our limit is three (3) children per family.

What Age?

Children between the ages of 18 months (and walking) to 14 years can use our services.

What is the Fee?

There is a minimal fee of $5.00 per child per session.

How Do I Sign Up?

Call 504-842-KIDS (5437) to make an appointment. Please try to call 48 hours in advance.

What Should I Bring?

For young toddlers, bring appropriate diapers, wipes and bottles or sippy cup. Children personal toys are not to be brought into the Kids Club environment. Toys will be provided. Children must eat before arriving at Kids Club. Due to the number of children with food allergies: SNACKS, JUICE, OR MILK WILL NOT BE PROVIDED in Kids Club. Fresh cold Kentwood water is available.
