Patient and Referring Physician Benefits
- Patients receive a complete assessment by multiple specialists in a single outpatient clinic visit. A treatment plan is designed and communicated back to patients and referring physicians for ongoing care.
- Referring physicians have direct access to patients’ medical records electronically through OchsnerView – Ochsner’s online physician portal.
- Patients have access to Ochsner’s Brent House Hotel, a full-service hotel on the Ochsner Medical Center’s campus for patients and their family members.
- JOHVI specializes in minimally invasive heart valve procedures, avoiding major surgery, if possible.
- Nurse Navigator Program - a dedicated Nurse coordinates and assists with all aspects of patient care from patient education to physician referrals.
