Our goal is to tailor the most efficacious therapy for each patient. We find that many of the patients referred to us are best treated by observation and medical therapy. If invasive therapy is required, the large majority are treated with minimally invasive endovascular methods, reserving surgical intervention for cases where there is a clear advantage in terms of efficacy, durability and/or safety. As the only vascular specialists who can offer all three treatment alternatives, we are not biased toward any single treatment modality. Many patients require non-invasive exams such as duplex ultrasound or ankle-brachial indexes (ABI’s). We can even arrange for you to have these diagnostic tests performed in the non-invasive vascular lab immediately prior to your clinic visit, so you do not need to make two trips.
