The Family Birthing Center at Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge is staffed by six full-time, board-certified OB/GYN physicians, plus a collaborative midwifery practice with four certified nurse-midwives. Ochsner is the only hospital in the area to offer a midwifery program to its patients and provides a number of alternative birthing options.
