Each Ochsner employee has a professional development plan that maps out a path based on their desired career course and personal learning goals.
Ochsner offers over 60 rigorous in-person and online courses and programs designed to build or enhance core competencies and support our employees’ professional development plans. Below are just two of the many programs that support the development of our employees:
- Ochsner Leadership Institute (OLI) - Supports the professional development of Ochsner's Physicians, leaders and employees. All offerings align with Ochsner’s Mission and Vision and support our five leadership traits.
- System Nursing Professional Development (SNPD) - Programs offered through System Nursing Professional Development foster the art and science of nursing professionalism by advocating for life-long learning of evidenced based nursing practice and staff development.
