Dr. Ahmet Bedestani joined Ochsner Baptist in 2019. He came to Ochsner from East Jefferson Urogynecology, where he served as Director. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Edison, New Jersey, in 2003. Following graduation, he continued his training with an internship and residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Bedestani completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Bedestani is a Diplomate in the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty board
certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Bedestani’s main focus is advanced prolapse
repair using robotic technology.
